Jan Loomis has been practicing family law for more than 30 years. She has extensive training in mediation and collaborative training, in addition to continuing education in all areas of substantive family law. She holds a Masters Degree in childhood education, and coupled with 4 years of teaching elementary school, have special insight and skills into the needs, development, and perspectives of children.
Jan has the ability and skills to deal with difficult personalities and complex situations. Her goal is to develop options and solutions outside the range of options available to the court, retain the clients' ability to fully participate in all decisions reached and to achieve settlements that will resolve immediate issues and likely future issues in a satisfactory way to both clients.
